The Seidelman residence is a nice example of a 1950’s modern home. It is situated along the Columbia River in St Helens, Oregon. The home enjoys gorgeous views of the Columbia River, so the goal was to open the back of the home to the outdoors. Walls were removed and once divided rooms along the rear of the home remodeled to create a open, comfortable living area which looks directly onto the Columbia. The main concept of this remodel was the accordion doors which allowed an entire wall to be opened up and allow the Great Room and Dining Room to be become part of the outdoor experience.
